An Augusta University DNP student moves through four clinical courses that each name a population and end in NURS 9192; a certificate student moves through three. For each one we look for a clinician in Georgia or South Carolina whose patients match, near enough to your home for daily travel and for faculty visits.

How our work fits alongside Augusta University
We are an independent service, and Augusta University makes every decision about its clinical courses. Its faculty write course objectives, visit you, your preceptor and your site, and grade each clinical course Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory. Our part is to make sure what reaches them is well matched, complete and early.
For anything the university decides, such as clinical forms, approvals and visit scheduling, we point you to your course faculty or the right College of Nursing office by title. How we check what we tell you
Every guide on this site is written from Augusta University's own catalog, plans of study, DNP Handbook and College of Nursing policies, and from Georgia and South Carolina statutes and board rules. Each page lists its sources and the date it was last checked.
When Augusta University's documents disagree, we show both versions: the catalog's 1,200 total hours beside the handbook's 1,000-hour floor, for example, or two different immunization deadlines. When something is unpublished, such as preceptor qualifications or how often faculty visit, we say so and name who to ask. Health system rules come from each system's own student pages, labeled when we read an archived copy.
